Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a busy, service-led finance function in a key leadership role. You will oversee a centralised team producing monthly management accounts and robust financial reporting for stakeholders.

This hands-on role focuses on process improvements, people development and delivering accurate numbers in a fast-paced environment, with hybrid working from mid Essex.

Qualifications

• Qualified or nearly-qualified accountant with strong management accounting background.
• Proven track record of leading and developing a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a team of management accountants.
• Own the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts.
• Ensure strong balance sheet reconciliations and disciplined financial controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and year-end processes.
• Review payroll postings, client money calculations and internal submissions.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders with a 'no surprises' approach.
• Identify and drive improvements across processes, reporting and systems.
• Collaborate with senior finance colleagues on wider business initiatives.
