Job summary

Cherry Professional - Relationship Led Recruitment is seeking a qualified Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, forecasting, compliance, and stakeholder engagement in a commercially focused role in Nottingham.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong communication skills, experience in management and statutory accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Oversee VAT, CIS, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Lead the year-end audit process and liaise with external advisors.
• Maintain financial models and monitor lending covenant compliance.
• Present financial information to shareholders and senior stakeholders.
• Support company secretarial activities, including board minutes and Companies House filings.
