Blusource Recruitment is seeking a Finance Manager for a Derbyshire-based role. You will join a fast‑growing SME finance team, reporting to the Head of Finance and shaping the department as it scales.

Commutable from Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, the role offers significant autonomy and impact. You will lead the finance team, oversee monthly management accounts, strengthen controls, and drive process improvements with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or close to qualification.
• Strong finance leadership experience in a similar role.
• Excellent management accounts and reporting capabilities.
• Experience coaching/mentoring a finance team.
• Comfortable working in a growing SME environment.

Responsibilities

The Role

• Lead, coach and support the finance team
• Review monthly management accounts and reporting

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or be in the final stages of your qualification
• Previous Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Senior Management Accountant experience
• Strong management accounts and financial reporting experience
• Experience leading, mentoring or developing a finance team
• Comfortable working within a growing SME environment
• A proactive, commercial and hands‑on approach with a passion for continuous improvement
