Job summary

The Recruitment Lab Limited is seeking a standalone Finance Manager for our client near Haywards Heath to oversee financial operations across a small group of companies.

You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end and year-end close, payroll, VAT returns and audit preparation; strong multi-currency accounting, VAT/CT61 knowledge, and QuickBooks with advanced Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of multi-currency accounting.
• VAT and CT61 knowledge.
• Month End, Year End and Audit experience.
• Experience of accounting software (ideally QuickBooks) and advanced Excel Skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Our client is a specialist import and export provider based just outside Haywards Heath. They currently seek a standalone Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations across a group of companies.

Responsibilities include day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting, month end and year end processes, payroll, VAT returns, and year end audit preparation.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience and understanding of multi-currency accounting
• VAT and CT61 knowledge
• Month End, Year End and Audit experience
• Experience of accounting software (ideally QuickBooks) and advanced Excel Skills
• Excellent communication skills

In return a salary of 45k-47k is provided depending upon experience. Due to office location, a full UK driving license and own transport is essential.
