Job summary

The Recruitment Lab is representing a client just outside Haywards Heath, seeking a standalone Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations across a group of companies.

Responsibilities include day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting, month end and year end processes, payroll, VAT returns, and year end audit preparation. The successful candidate will need multi-currency experience and proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of multi-currency accounting.
• VAT and CT61 knowledge.
• Month End, Year End and Audit experience.
• Experience with accounting software (ideally QuickBooks) and advanced Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting.
• Manage month-end and year-end processes.
• Handle payroll.
• Prepare VAT returns.
• Support year-end audit preparation.

Our client is a specialist import and export provider based just outside Haywards Heath. They currently seek a standalone Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations across a group of companies.

Responsibilities include day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting, month end and year end processes, payroll, VAT returns, and year end audit preparation.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience and understanding of multi-currency accounting
• VAT and CT61 knowledge
• Month End, Year End and Audit experience
• Experience of accounting software (ideally QuickBooks) and advanced Excel Skills
• Excellent communication skills

In return a salary of 40k-42k is provided depending upon experience. Due to office location, a full UK driving license and own transport is essential.
