Job summary

Venn Group is recruiting for a Finance Service Centre Officer in Central London on a 6-month hybrid contract. The role supports the finance team, handles internal finance queries, and delivers customer-focused helpdesk service with accurate processing of expenses.

The ideal candidate will have extensive customer service experience, finance team exposure, excellent organisation, and strong Excel skills to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for finance queries, providing professional and timely support to internal departments.
• Delivering a measurable helpdesk service with a focus on customer service and first-time resolution.
• Checking and processing expense documents, including multicurrency expenses.
• Advising colleagues on correct forms and processes and ensuring compliance with finance regulations.
• Identifying and rejecting non-compliant claims (missing receipts, incorrect forms, incomplete bank details).
• Verifying information in the finance system and setting up new accounts as needed.
• Handling queries via helpdesk, email, phone and MS Teams.
• Assisting the finance team with other queries and with reconciliations and general admin.
