Job summary

RWE AG is offering a two-year graduate programme in finance, starting September 2027, with rotations across multiple locations in the UK. You’ll experience four six-month placements spanning Controlling, accounting, planning, investment and investor relations, building a solid foundation for a finance career.

Salary: starting at £40,000 p.a.

About the role

Over the course of two years, you’ll progress through four six-month placements of your own choosing, rotating across the entire RWE Group. Throughout the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to take on responsibilities with real impact, and you’ll be able to gain experience in a wide range of areas including:

• Planning & Reporting
• Investment & Valuation
• Investor Relations

Digital technologies, including AI-enabled tools, are becoming an integral part of how we work at RWE. Throughout the programme, you will have opportunities to use these tools responsibly to enhance productivity, support decision-making, foster innovation and improve ways of working, always in line with RWE policies and responsible use principles.

Job requirements and experience

Are you passionate about the energy industry and looking to make an impact with a dynamic, fast-growing business? Some relevant experience is useful, but not essential. What you must have is:

• A strong degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Business Management/Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a comparable subject area with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or Accounting.
• Strong analytical skills.
• A collaborative mindset with a curious approach, constantly challenging yourself to find new solutions.
• Motivation to take on new challenges, whether independently or as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm and drive to build your skillset and pursue development opportunities within a supportive team.
• Flexibility and mobility to travel to multiple locations.
