Job summary

Fabadosa Group is seeking a Finance Executive to join the Maldon team. This is an early-stage finance role offering broad exposure to management accounting, financial controls and commercial reporting across the group's businesses.

You will support accurate financial information delivery, assist with reporting and reconciliations, and contribute to improving finance processes while pursuing a recognised accounting qualification.

Qualifications

• Some experience in a finance or accounts role.
• Interest in studying towards an accounting qualification such as AAT/CIMA/ACCA.
• Basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and month-end accounting.
• Confidence using spreadsheets; experience with accounting systems is useful but not essential.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Clear communication and ability to work with colleagues across the business.
• Proactive, dependable and organised with ability to manage priorities in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close with journals, accruals, prepayments under guidance.
• Complete reconciliations and investigate differences.
• Maintain fixed asset, intercompany, payroll and VAT records.
• Assist with sales ledger, credit control, purchase ledger and working-capital reporting.
• Work with operational colleagues to gather information and explain variances.
• Develop management accounting knowledge through ownership of tasks.
