Job Opportunity: Senior Finance Business Partner

Sewell Wallis is partnering with a renowned global professional services firm based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Join a high-performing commercial finance team responsible for partnering with IT, especially during significant transformational projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with IT to ensure rigorous management and reporting of costs, including Capex and project expenses.
• Conduct BAU analysis, reporting, and cyclical processes such as budgeting and reforecasting.
• Influence senior stakeholders by providing commercial insights and challenge to cost plans.
• Oversee project tracking, KPIs, and Capex.
• Prepare and review monthly MI and commentary for Service Directors, highlighting budget progress and issues.
• Manage headcount data, variances, and provide insights.
• Collaborate with the Costs Senior BP to deliver consistent reporting across Service Areas.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and modeling across costs.
• Identify cost trends and work with the team to mitigate risks or overspend.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified in ACCA / ACA / CIMA with 3+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong analysis and financial modeling skills.
• Experience in project tracking and Capex modeling.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate financial insights.

What We Offer:

• Salary: £75,000 - £78,000
• Fixed-term contract for 12 months
• Hybrid working: 3 days in Sheffield, with flexibility to work from Leeds or Manchester and travel to Sheffield once a week
