We partner with organizations to train large AI language models, helping cutting-edge generative AI models provide better finance responses. Projects typically involve finance problems across different fields, including Corporate Finance, Investment Management, Financial Markets & Trading, Risk Management, Behavioral Finance, etc., that require interacting with these models as they learn. No previous AI experience is required.

About the opportunity:

Outlier is seeking talented finance experts to assist in training generative artificial intelligence models.

This freelance, remote opportunity offers flexible hours, allowing you to work whenever it suits you. The expected commitment is 30-40 hours per week.

Your contributions may include:

• Developing and answering finance questions to help train AI models
• Evaluating and classifying responses generated by AI models

Preferred experience:

• Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree or higher in finance from a selective institution
• Proficiency in finance projects
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines
