Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Master Data Governance & Quality Manager for Finance in Derby to drive governance of Finance master data and ensure data quality and regulatory compliance. You will steward data, lead governance initiatives, and partner with data owners to improve reporting accuracy.

The role covers lifecycle management, data protection, and operational insights to support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Finance master data governance, data quality management, or related roles.
• Proven experience with data governance frameworks, data lifecycle management, and Finance regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Finance master data (Cost Centre, Profit Centre, Hierarchy management, GL’s, etc).
• Experience of Oracle HFM and DRM solutions.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with data owners and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead data quality improvement initiatives and implement governance strategies.
• Experience in fostering a data-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Governance Framework & Strategy: Own the creation and maintenance of Finance master data policies, standards, and processes for managing data throughout its lifecycle.
• Define accountability for Finance data assets and establish data access, usage, and protection protocols.
• Develop and lead governance initiatives to improve process and data quality as a data steward.
• Ensure the governance framework meets regulatory requirements and is embedded across the organisation.
• Run finance master data governance processes, meetings, and data input assessments.
• Design, measure, and improve data quality standards across the organisation.
• Ensure data integrity between systems and improve reporting data quality for stakeholders.
• Design performance tracking for Finance master data processes to demonstrate value.
• Identify data improvement initiatives and prioritise delivery with data owners.
• Partner with data owners and stakeholders to improve efficiency and data availability.
