Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Derby is seeking an SAP FICO Manager to govern the Finance SAP landscape, oversee data integrity, and lead the month-end close and financial reporting processes. You will drive governance for master data, chart of accounts, cost centres and profitability structures while partnering with IT on upgrades and transformations.

The role balances strategic SAP finance leadership with hands-on operational delivery and continuous improvement initiatives across the GBS SAP environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience.
• Significant experience in SAP FI/CO implementation, support, or enhancements.
• Experience working within a Finance Shared Service environment.
• Proven experience managing both strategic SAP Finance initiatives and hands-on operational processes.
• Experience delivering large-scale data migration or SAP template rollout programmes is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as global SAP Finance (FI/CO) SME for processes, systems and controls.
• Own and govern core Finance master data including COA, cost/profit centres, and hierarchies.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and related reporting.
• Lead SAP Finance design and delivery for business change, changes in regulation and upgrades.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and optimization across Finance and SAP.
