Job summary

Sagoss Group is seeking a Financial Controller to own the complete finance function across three growing businesses, delivering accurate reporting, strong controls and cash‑flow visibility. You will collaborate with sales, bids, operations and senior leaders to drive pricing decisions and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified with ACCA/CIMA/ACA and proven hands-on finance leadership.
• Experience owning a broad finance function in a growing SME or multi-company group.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting processes, payroll, VAT, and year-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Own purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations, journals and cash flow reporting.
• Prepare management accounts with commentary and KPI dashboards.
• Support pricing, bids, quotations, and commercial decision making.
• Lead cash flow forecasting and credit control improvements.
• Drive process improvements and finance automation with Xero.
