Job summary

SF Partners are seeking a Group Financial Controller to partner with the CFO and lead a scaling finance function. This senior role focuses on building best-in-class processes, leading high-performing teams, and operating in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.

You will own group financial reporting, multi-entity consolidations, board and lender reporting, UK and international tax compliance, cash flow forecasting, treasury, and audits, while developing a high-caliber finance team and

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102.
• Experience managing audits, financial reporting and UK tax compliance.
• Proactive, commercially minded with process improvement focus.
• Experience in SaaS, media, information services, or high-growth businesses is a plus.

SF Partners are working with an exciting, high-growth international business looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller to partner closely with the CFO and play a pivotal role in scaling the finance function.

As Group Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of:

• Group financial reporting, month-end close and multi-entity consolidations
• Board, investor and lender reporting
• UK & international tax compliance (including UK and US)
• Cash flow forecasting, treasury and working capital management
• Audit, statutory reporting and financial controls
• Developing and leading a talented finance team
• Partnering with senior stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting and strategic initiatives

We're looking for someone who has:

• ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification, 5+ years' PQE
• Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
• Experience managing audits, financial reporting and UK tax compliance
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with a passion for improving processes
• Experience within SaaS, media, information services or another high-growth business would be advantageous but isn't essential.
