The Finance Business Partner is responsible for

The financial integrity and analytical support across the supply side of the UK & International business. You will support the Head of Finance – Services, Supply Chain & PMM to deliver trusted finance business partnering to leadership teams in Services and Supply Chain. The role focuses on supporting the completion of financial plans, optimizing operational costs, reengineering processes, and driving productivity. You will also support the establishment of Management Information (MI), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and a financial “trading model” to facilitate decision making through regular performance reporting. The successful candidate must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, working in an evolving matrix structure, and delivering across an international business.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Head of Finance in UK & International to deliver:
  • Business partnering across Services and Supply Chain
  • An internal financial “trading model” providing appropriate costing units for all products and services to support profitable growth
  • Compelling business cases to enhance capabilities, propositions, products, and services
  • Partnering with functional and business heads to drive effectiveness and efficiency, building a sustainable and scalable business model
  • Supporting the development of MI & KPIs that directly contribute to business results
  • Contributing to cultural, process, and systems change programs, while supporting real-time business needs
  • Line management responsibilities including recruitment, training, and motivation of team members
  • Acting as a role model within the finance team, maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, can-do approach even under pressure
Knowledge & Experience
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification with 3+ years PQE and 2+ years in management
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles with practical application to business
  • Experience in senior business partnering, adding value to strategic and tactical priorities
  • Strong commercial acumen, connecting financial and non-financial metrics with business drivers
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving skills and experience in process improvements with recommendations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
