Job title: Finance Business Partner

Reporting to: Director of FP&A

Department: Finance

Location: Hybrid with 2-3 days per week in our Holborn office, depending on location

The Role

The Finance Business Partner, reporting to the Director of FP&A, will collaborate with various departments to understand forecasts and their financial impacts. The role involves developing financial models to support strategic initiatives, supporting system implementation to facilitate business scalability, and managing cash forecasting and covenant modeling.

1. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   • Partner with stakeholders to complete annual planning and quarterly reforecasting.
   • Highlight key assumptions and drivers of projections.
   • Identify risks and opportunities and their financial impacts.
   • Review monthly trading performance and implications on forecast.
   • Maintain KPIs for departmental performance insights.
   • Manage a fully integrated 3-way model for rolling forecasts of 12-18 months.
2. Supply and Demand Review:
   • Collaborate with Commercial and Supply Chain teams on product dynamics.
   • Review product profitability and communicate actions.
   • Participate in monthly S&OP meetings for Excom presentations.
3. System Implementation:
   • Lead and champion ongoing systems development, especially automation of forecasting and budgeting.
   • Enhance data integrity and reporting controls for scenario analysis.
   • Support tracking of exceptional spend and financial reporting for new acquisitions.
4. Adhoc Analysis:
   • Assist in preparing monthly reports and develop financial models for strategic initiatives.
   • Forecast net debt and gearing, highlighting risks and stakeholder actions.

Desired Experience

• Excellent communication skills, with ability to translate financial data for non-financial audiences.
• Negotiation skills.
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• ACMA/ACCA or similar financial analysis qualifications.
