We are seeking a dynamic Finance Business Partner to join our team at Power Device UK Ltd. As a key business partner to all department team leads, you will drive cost understanding and performance improvement within the business. You will support the Head of Finance in delivering budgets, management accounts, and statutory returns.
Key Responsibilities:
·Collaborate with the Head of Finance and department team leads to produce budgets and forecasts.
·Manage the month-end close process, including preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and revenue recognition.
·Prepare monthly cost reports and work with team leads to identify cost-saving opportunities.
·Monitor spend against the capex budget, ensuring compliance and productivity savings.
·Prepare monthly company-wide management accounts and forecasts.
·Liaise with auditors and external advisers, delivering audit information within deadlines.
·Review costings to maintain operational and financial accuracy.
·Track project expenditure against budget and milestones to ensure revenue recognition aligns with policy.
·Identify new reports needed to support the business and update key data sets in EFACS.
·Participate in project work and ad-hoc requests as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
·Essential:
·Recognised Accountancy Qualification or close to achieving qualification.
·Strong Excel, process improvement, and performance management skills.
·Effective communication with non-finance stakeholders.
·Self-starter with forward-thinking abilities.
·Manufacturing background.
·Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and changing priorities.
·Understanding of ERP systems.
·Desirable:
·Experience with foreign currency transactions and exposure management.
·Sarbanes-Oxley exposure.
