Job summary

Sheridan Maine Midlands is partnering with a strong brand to appoint a Finance Business Partner in Wolverhampton. You will influence decisions, provide commercial insight and act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, shaping strategy and performance.

The role leads budgeting, forecasting and investment appraisal, turning data into actionable recommendations, with a hybrid work model and competitive rewards.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Experienced Finance Business Partner in a complex, fast-paced organisation.
• Credible and able to challenge senior stakeholders.
• Analytical and able to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Advanced in Excel.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Power BI/Power Query/Power Pivot beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Directors and senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
• Turn complex financial and operational data into meaningful commercial insight.
• Identify risks, opportunities and performance trends for informed decision-making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning processes for areas of responsibility.

• Present financial performance and recommendations to senior management teams.

Sheridan Maine is partnering with a powerful brand to recruit a talented Finance Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation where commercial finance is truly at the heart of strategic decision-making.

Working closely with senior leaders across the wider organisation, you'll provide insight, challenge and support that helps drive performance and shape the future direction of the business. This is far more than a reporting role. You'll be a trusted adviser, helping stakeholders understand what the numbers mean, what actions are needed and where opportunities exist to create value.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the commercial finance team, you'll:

• Partner with Directors and senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing decision-makers at all levels. You'll likely be:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• An experienced Finance Business Partner with a strong track record in a complex and fast-paced organisation.
• Highly credible and comfortable challenging and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Commercially curious and naturally proactive.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to simplify complex financial data into actionable recommendations and effectively communicate to non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced in Excel.
• Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query or Power Pivot would also be beneficial but is not essential.

Package to GBP75k plus car allowance and performance related bonus with a comprehensive benefits package and hybrid working.
