Sheridan Maine is partnering with a powerful brand to recruit a talented Finance Business Partner. This role is based in Wolverhampton with hybrid working and a package up to £75k plus car allowance and comprehensive benefits.

The role involves partnering with senior leaders, turning data into insight, leading budgeting and forecasting, and developing business cases to support strategic initiatives. This is a high‑visibility role in a fast‑paced commercial finance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experienced Finance Business Partner in a fast‑paced organisation.
• Credible in challenging and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Commercially curious and proactive.
• Advanced in Excel.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Power BI/Power Query/Power Pivot experience beneficial.

Sheridan Maine is partnering with a powerful brand to recruit a talented Finance Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation where commercial finance is truly at the heart of strategic decision-making.

Working closely with senior leaders across the wider organisation, you'll provide insight, challenge and support that helps drive performance and shape the future direction of the business. This is far more than a reporting role. You'll be a trusted adviser, helping stakeholders understand what the numbers mean, what actions are needed and where opportunities exist to create value.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the commercial finance team, you'll:

• Partner with Directors and senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
• Turn complex financial and operational data into meaningful commercial insight.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning processes for your areas of responsibility.
• Develop business cases, financial models and investment appraisals to support strategic initiatives.

• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, forecasting and business partnering activities.
• Use data and analysis to challenge assumptions, influence outcomes and improve business performance.

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing decision-makers at all levels.
You'll likely be:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• An experienced Finance Business Partner with a strong track record in a complex and fast-paced organisation.
• Highly credible and comfortable challenging and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Commercially curious and naturally proactive.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to simplify complex financial data into actionable recommendations and effectively communicate to non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced in Excel.
• Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query or Power Pivot would also be beneficial but is not essential.

Package to £75k plus car allowance and performance related bonus with a comprehensive benefits package and hybrid working.
