Job summary

Sheridan Maine Midlands in Wolverhampton is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join on a permanent basis with hybrid working. You will work with senior leaders, translating complex numbers into actionable insight to inform strategic decisions.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA, strong analytical ability and credible stakeholder management. You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting and investment appraisal, with Power BI experience a bonus.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Experience in a complex, fast-paced organisation.
• Able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
• Proactive and commercially curious.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Power BI/Power Query/Power Pivot preferred.

Reporting to senior leadership, the Finance Business Partner will join Sheridan Maine Midlands on a permanent, full-time basis in Wolverhampton, with hybrid working available. This commercial position sits at the centre of strategic decision-making, requiring an adviser who can influence, challenge and support stakeholders across the wider organisation. Duties include interpreting figures, highlighting risks and pinpointing where value can be created. Applicants should demonstrate strong analytical ability, confident communication and proven partnering skills with non-finance colleagues. The salary ranges from £70,000 to £75,000 annually, complemented by a car allowance, bonus and comprehensive benefits package.

The Opportunity

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• An experienced Finance Business Partner with a strong track record in a complex and fast-paced organisation.
• Highly credible and comfortable challenging and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Commercially curious and naturally proactive.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to simplify complex financial data into actionable recommendations and effectively communicate to non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced in Excel.
• Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query or Power Pivot would also be beneficial but is not essential.

Package to £75k plus car allowance and performance related bonus with a comprehensive benefits package and hybrid working.
