We are recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Team. Our team works hard, has fun, and celebrates success.
Finance Business Partners at the Mining Remediation Authority enjoy diverse roles, reflecting the organization's varied activities. To keep roles fresh and challenging, business partner areas are rotated every 1-2 years.
You will act as the Finance Director for your supported business area, thinking holistically, being involved regularly, and providing services in planning, reporting, governance, and decision support.
You will receive a generous benefits package, including a performance-based bonus scheme, and support for ongoing development, including 5 days of training annually.
Working alongside six other Finance Business Partners and reporting to the Principal Finance Manager, you will provide management accounting and decision support to the Mining Remediation Authority's management teams. This includes financial planning, analysis, commercial support, performance monitoring, and reporting. Governance, internal and external audits, and risk assessment are also key responsibilities.
You will be responsible for managing your performance and meeting individual, team, and organizational objectives, contributing positively and aligning with organizational values and behaviors. You will identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and value for money.
Developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships through mature people skills is essential.

Role location: Hybrid working (average 2 days in Mansfield office)
