Chase & Holland in Hull seeks a highly capable Finance Business Partner to join a successful manufacturing business. The role moves beyond traditional reporting to influence commercial strategy and profitability.

Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and senior leaders, you will shape budgeting, forecasting and executive reporting, and support pricing, product development and margin optimisation across the business.

Qualifikationen

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified is required.
• Strong background in commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering preferred.
• Financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis skills are essential.

• Act as a trusted finance partner to senior commercial stakeholders, providing financial insight and constructive challenge.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting across commercial operations to support strategic planning and growth.
• Support executive reporting and presentations with the Chief Commercial Officer.
• Assist with tenders, pricing strategies and business proposals to ensure profitability.
• Partner with commercial and operational teams on new product development, pricing models and margin optimisation.
• Develop financial models, reporting tools and analysis to improve visibility of commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as a trusted finance partner to senior commercial stakeholders, providing meaningful financial insight and constructive challenge
• Leading budgeting and forecasting across commercial operations, supporting strategic planning and business growth
• Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to support executive-level reporting and presentations
• Supporting commercial tenders, pricing strategies and business proposals, ensuring financial viability and profitability
• Partnering with commercial and operational teams on new product development, pricing models and margin optimisation
• Developing financial models, reporting tools and analysis to improve visibility of commercial performance
• Monitoring sales, costs and profitability, identifying opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency
• Driving improvements in financial reporting, systems and processes to support better business decisions

The Ideal Candidate

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
• Previous experience within commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering
• Financial modelling and analytical skills including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to challenge and influence senior leaders
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems knowledge
