Chase & Holland are recruiting a Commercial Finance Business Partner for a Doncaster-based role. You will work with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge performance and support both short-term decisions and long-term planning in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office), a salary up to £55,000 plus a bonus up to 10%, and enhanced benefits including private medical insurance and life assurance.

Formación

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in FP&A or finance business partnering.
• Strong modelling and analytical skills, with commercial insight.

Working closely with senior stakeholders and operational teams, you'll provide valuable financial insight, challenge business performance and support both short-term operational decisions and longer-term strategic initiatives.
Combining financial planning, commercial analysis and business partnering, you'll play an important role in identifying opportunities, evaluating business cases and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with senior finance and operational stakeholders, providing financial insight, commercial support and constructive challenge.
• Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve profitability and business efficiency.
• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts and longer-term financial planning, ensuring robust and commercially focused financial information.
• Develop financial models, investment appraisals and business cases to support commercial opportunities and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and present insightful management information, variance analysis and financial commentary to senior stakeholders.
• Work closely with operational teams to understand key business drivers, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the evaluation of commercial projects and initiatives, including post-implementation reviews to assess performance against expectations.
• Contribute to improvements in financial reporting, processes and controls, helping to strengthen financial understanding across the business.

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience within a commercially focused Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting or FP&A role, ideally within retail or a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills, with the ability to turn financial data into meaningful commercial insight.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and constructively challenge senior leaders.
• Commercially astute, proactive and solutions-focused, with a genuine interest in improving business performance and supporting strategic decisions.
