Job summary

Rutherford Briant Recruitment in Colchester is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its Leadership Team. You will lead the finance function and provide commercial financial insight to senior stakeholders.

This broad, commercially focused role combines financial leadership, business partnering and team management, supporting performance, planning and strategic decisions across the group.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification required.
• 5+ years' experience leading and developing a team.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with strong analytical and commercial skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team of 5, supporting performance, succession planning and continuous development.
• Coordinate the annual finance plan and oversee budgets, forecasts, management information, pricing and costing exercises across the Group.
• Provide commercial financial insight to the Leadership Team, identifying trends, risks and opportunities and supporting key business cases and strategic decisions.
• Manage financial controls, cost management, credit management and risk processes, ensuring strong financial discipline across the organisation.
• Lead the year-end audit process and support the preparation of statutory accounts, tax computations and associated reporting requirements.
