Job summary

Cobb & Jones Recruitment Limited is partnering with a client in the Maidstone outskirts area to recruit a Finance Business Partner. The role centers on owning monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgeting cycles and insightful commentary to support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate is part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or has equivalent experience, with strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues.

Finance Business Partner Outskirts of Maidstone Paying £45k - £52k DOE

Are you an analytical, forward-thinking finance professional looking to play a key role in driving performance and supporting strategic decision-making? We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our client's successful finance team.

As Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with both Finance and operational teams to deliver timely, accurate reporting and help shape future financial performance. You will take ownership of monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgeting cycles and analysis, while providing meaningful commentary to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and timely management accounts with clear and insightful commentary.
• Deliver regular forecasts and collaborate with managers to develop and challenge assumptions.
• Prepare detailed annual budgets for designated areas of the organisation.
• Support balance sheet reconciliations and year-end processes.
• Provide actionable financial insights to support operational decisions.
• Identify risks, opportunities and performance trends, communicating these clearly across teams.
• Prepare financial evaluations for internal projects
• Support development of pricing models and analysis of cost and margin movements.
