A leading company in the hospitality sector is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic finance team. This role involves supporting financial planning and analysis while collaborating with various stakeholders to drive business success. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in hospitality finance, strong analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
The Finance Business Partner is an exciting and critical role within a fast-paced, growing and dynamic environment sitting within the Regional finance team. The Regional finance team is structured horizontally into two geographical regions (UK & Europe) with responsibility for a number of sites. In addition, each team member also has vertical ownership over key performance categories. The role reports to a regional Head of Finance working closely with the central Finance team and business owners. A key element of the role is supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting & analysis. The jobholder will act as a trusted advisor for the business enabling collaboration with internal stakeholders to achieve organisational goals. They will provide expertise through enabling data driven decision modelling to achieve favourable outcomes for the business.
The jobholder should be a passionate and positive financial practitioner who wants to make a difference and contribute to the continuous improvement of the business processes and results through a structured way of working that challenges current practices. The candidate should be highly curious and capable, enthusiastic, motivated, with a strong attention to detail and able to learn new processes and tasks quickly. Required is a broad range of experience providing ‘real time’ support and analysis, being a trusted advisor and adding value that assists in decision making with a strong knowledge of hospitality supported by financial qualifications.
The Finance Business Partner should thrive in working to short and moving deadlines and will be able to manage multiple priorities. They will be able to analyse a range of information sources but be able to quickly identify the key variables and scenarios that will determine the success of a decision. The ability to distil information into a coherent and visual output and to then have high quality and sometimes challenging conversations with a positive mindset is critical to the success of the role. The jobholder should therefore blend technical skill and organisational knowledge and data points with a curiosity to learn and understand the business drivers of the business teams and to apply this knowledge through a financial lens.
