Job summary

Reds10 in Driffield is seeking a Finance Assistant (Stock Management) to join our Finance team in a fast paced manufacturing environment. You will help process and reconcile factory inventory, consumables and overhead costs, supporting overall finance operations.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work across departments, maintain stock records, handle supplier invoices, and support month-end close and ERP transitions to drive accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Finance, accounts or administration experience.
• Experience with month-end activities.
• Proficient Excel with lookups and pivots.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to collaborate with finance and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Process factory stock invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile BITs inventory system to Sage 50.
• Maintain stock records through delivery notes and PODs.
• Reconcile stock balances to the balance sheet.
• Prepare stock and consumables journals for project allocations.
• Manage consumables accounting, reconciliations and cost allocations.
• Raise and post purchase orders for factory overheads.
• Process overhead invoices and perform reconciliations in EQUE2.
• Monitor factory maintenance expenditure and ensure costs stay within budget.
• Reconcile supplier statements related to stock and consumables.
• Support month-end close and prepare financial workings.
• Assist with CAPEX reconciliations and other finance admin tasks.
