Job summary

Dyson-Farming is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Manager and the wider finance team with core transactional responsibilities, while contributing to process improvements and reducing manual tasks. This hands-on role suits someone who is detail-oriented and proactive, with the confidence to challenge existing processes.

You will handle accounts payable, month-end activities, and assist with financial reporting and compliance, helping maintain accurate records and audit trails

Qualifications

• Hands-on finance experience with transactional focus.
• Comfortable challenging and improving existing processes.
• Experience in supplier invoices, reconciliations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and timely.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage supplier queries and maintain relationships.
• Prepare and process payment runs per policy.
• Ensure proper coding of invoices in the finance system.
• Assist with month-end close activities and journals (accruals/prepayments).
• Support balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Assist in preparing basic financial reports.
