Role Overview:

Our Finance Department is launching a new Apprenticeship scheme, and we are looking for passionate individuals to join us and kickstart your finance career.

As a Finance Apprentice, you will gain exposure to various teams and countries across the Finance Shared Service Centre, including:

• Master Data
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable – Cash & Card
• Cash & Banking
• Fixed Assets

The apprenticeship will last 2 years, providing you with a strong foundation in accounting through practical experience, supported throughout your journey.

You will develop both practical and technical skills, working within a large team and interacting with the business on different facets.

This opportunity will help you develop communication and influencing skills, and enable you to become AAT qualified and proficient in Microsoft tools, SAP, and other ERP/Legacy systems.

Key Accountabilities:

Accounts Payable:

• Open Items, Debit Balances, Query Management
• Payments

Accounts Receivable:

• Rebates
• Cash & Card transaction processing & reconciliations
• Customer communication

Cash & Bank:

• Uploading Bank Statements
• Reprocessing Transactions
• Bank Reconciliations
• Query Management

Master Data:

• Setting up/amending Customers
• Purchase Order Setup
• Data Cleanse

Candidate Requirements:

• GCSE Maths Grade 7 and above
• A Level (Accounting/Business Studies/Economics) – Grade C and above, or a Finance Degree
• Organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft packages
