Ethos Talent is partnering with an established business in Milton Keynes to recruit a Part-Qualified Management Accountant. This role offers a clear path to seniority as you develop your management accounting experience within a supportive finance team.

You will deliver monthly management accounts, assist with month-end closing, budgeting and forecasting, and provide robust financial analysis to drive business performance.

Qualificações

• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA actively working towards qualification.
• Experience as Assistant Management Accountant/Assistant Accountant or similar.
• Good understanding of management accounts and month-end processes.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse financial information.
• Attention to detail with proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and ensure timely reporting.
• Post journals, accruals and prepayments as part of month-end.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Analyse financial performance and provide variance commentary.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial information for decisions.
• Assist with cash flow reporting and monitoring.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting and controls.
• Support the finance team with ad hoc analysis and projects.

Working closely with the wider finance team, you will play an important role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end processes and providing meaningful financial information to help drive business performance.

The Role

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals and prepayments as part of the month-end process.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Analyse financial performance, identifying variances and providing commentary.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide financial information and support decision-making.

About You

• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA, actively working towards completing your qualification.
