Sharp Consultancy is partnering with a growing engineering business in Chesterfield to recruit a Finance Analyst. Join a supportive finance team, delivering regular reports, analysing data and supporting budgeting to drive performance.

We seek ACCA/CIMA qualification or active study, strong analytical and Excel skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach. Hybrid working, study support, and a generous pension are on offer.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive finance team where you'll use data and financial insight to help drive business performance. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you'll produce meaningful analysis, improve reporting and support informed decision-making.

The Role

• Produce regular financial and performance reports
• Analyse financial data, identifying trends and opportunities
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Prepare variance analysis and management reporting
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards
• Assist with business cases and financial planning
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business
• Support continuous improvements to reporting and processes

About You

We're keen to hear from individuals who have:

• ACCA or CIMA qualification, or are actively studying
• Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, Management Accountant or similar finance role
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach
