Job summary

Sharp Consultancy is assisting a growing engineering business in Chesterfield to recruit a Finance Analyst. You will join a supportive finance team where you'll use data and financial insight to help drive business performance, producing regular analysis and insightful reporting to support informed decision-making.

You'll analyse financial data, assist with budgeting and forecasting, develop dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• ACCA or CIMA qualification, or actively studying.
• Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, Management Accountant or similar finance role.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Produce regular financial and performance reports
• Analyse financial data, identifying trends and opportunities
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Prepare variance analysis and management reporting
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards
• Assist with business cases and financial planning
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business
• Support continuous improvements to reporting and processes
