Job summary

Accenture PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Finance AI Engineer to design, develop and operate production-grade AI applications within finance, translating complex data and control requirements into reliable software.

You will own end-to-end agentic workflows, orchestration and evaluation harnesses, working with finance users, process specialists and data engineers to deliver observable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering discipline with Python and at least one production language.
• Hands-on LLM application development, including tool use and structured outputs.
• Experience with evaluation, observability and LLMOps/AgentOps.
• Secure enterprise integration with authentication, secrets and PII-aware design.
• Ability to translate finance needs into testable requirements for stakeholders.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy agentic workflows into live finance processes with clear criteria and oversight.
• Implement LLM application patterns including tool/function calls and retrieval.
• Integrate with ERP/EPM systems and data repositories via secure connectors.
• Write evaluations, instrument agent behavior and ensure recoverable failure modes.
• Build interfaces for finance users to review, approve and evidence agent actions.
• Package and operate solutions using cloud AI services, containers, CI/CD and IaC.
• Collaborate with finance users, process experts, architects and data engineers.
• Contribute reusable patterns back to the practice asset base.
