Access Garage Doors Ltd in Crawley is seeking a Credit Controller & Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The role combines debt management, accounts receivable and general finance administration in a busy, growing company.

You will monitor aged debt, process payments, reconcile accounts and support month-end procedures, while maintaining accurate financial records and delivering excellent customer service. Office-based, permanent role. Experience with Xero/Sage and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous credit control and accounts receivable experience.
• Experience in a finance role with option to support month-end tasks.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Own credit control and debt management.
• Monitor aged debt and follow up overdue invoices.
• Allocate BACS receipts and maintain customer records.
• Perform customer credit checks and set up new accounts.
• Reconcile bank accounts and company cards.
• Support financial controller with month- and year-end procedures.
• Provide timely financial information to management.
• Assist with improving financial processes and controls.
