Unity Doors Limited is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance team at our head office in Newent, Gloucestershire. The role focuses on credit control, payroll administration, and end-to-end debtors management, with responsibilities spanning reconciliations and liaising with other departments.

Based at our Newent head office, the position offers Monday to Friday hours, with a salary up to £33,000 per annum, and benefits including pension, life assurance, and discounts on door products.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Experience in Credit Control / Debt Collection activities.
• Experience of Payroll administration.
• Highly organised approach and ability to respond to business demands.

Responsibilities

• Credit Control of the business to include daily chasing of payments.
• Reconciliation of payments to remittances and valuations.
• Reviewing credit limits and end-to-end management of debtors ledger.
• Liaising with other departments to resolve invoice queries quickly.
• Payroll administration for hourly paid employees and overtime reports.
