Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Accounting Manager to join their team in Cambridge. This role offers an attractive salary of £70,000 per annum and the opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounts, managing cash flow efficiently, executing necessary transactions, maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, preparing regular cash flow forecasts, generating financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, identifying and mitigating financial risks, and assisting in audit preparations.
As a Finance Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's finances. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the company's accounts, ensuring liquidity aligns with operational and investment requirements. You will execute necessary transactions while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements. Your role will also involve maintaining accurate bookkeeping records and preparing regular cash flow forecasts to support investment planning. You will generate financial reports on a regular basis and ensure all treasury activities comply with relevant regulations. Additionally, you will identify potential financial risks and establish protocols to prevent fraud.
The ideal candidate for this Finance Accounting Manager position will be Mandarin speaking and bring a wealth of experience in treasury, finance or accounting within an asset management firm or family office. You should hold a Master's degree in finance or accounting or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CFA or CTP would be advantageous. Your strong knowledge of cash management, treasury operations and financial analysis will be key to your success in this role. Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks or SAP and Microsoft Office is essential. You should possess exceptional analytical and organisational skills, a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
