Job summary

South East Water Limited is seeking a Process Technician to operate and maintain water production sites, reservoirs and pumping stations across the supply area. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork and the ability to travel between sites.

You will monitor flows, manage chemicals and assist with maintenance activities. The role includes a 1 in 7 standby rota and a company van, with a clear progression structure and potential earnings up to £44,188.21 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in process operations is required.
• Able to work in confined spaces and maintain safety.
• Valid driving licence and IT literacy expected.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain water treatment processes at production sites.
• Control chemical use and delivery within treatment processes.
• Assist with confined space tasks and liaise with contractors.
• Complete administrative tasks for maintenance work and site upkeep.
• Maintain security and issue permits to work when required.
• Support standby rota for out-of-hours incidents.
