Job summary

Thames Water in Bracknell is seeking a Process Technician on a full-time basis. The role covers planned maintenance on plant and equipment, operation and cleaning to maintain on-site standards, and supporting multiple sites to safeguard water supply.

No prior waste or water sector background is required; fresh perspectives are welcome. You will work outdoors in all weather, participate in standby rotas, and receive full training. A valid UK driving licence is essential; 38-hour weeks apply.

• Willing to learn and undergo safety training.
• Reliable and adaptable to outdoor, weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on plant and equipment.
• Operate and clean plant to meet safety standards.
• Attend reactive jobs after failures.
• Perform daily site checks and safety/security checks.
• Participate in standby and out-of-hours rotas.
• Travel between sites to support operations.
