Job summary

United Utilities in Blackburn on-site opportunity for a Water Customer Technician. You will be the first point of contact for resolving customer issues and ensure delivery of excellent service, managing end-to-end resolution from appointment to final outcome.

You will investigate water network problems, including leak detection and repairs, support incident response, maintain accurate records, and liaise with internal teams to ensure safe working practices and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• GCSE grade C or above, City and Guilds, or ability to demonstratetechnical and customer skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work alone and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by attending appointments and resolving service issues.
• Investigate water network issues including leak detection and mains repairs.
• Support incident management and ensure safe working practices and PPE compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate with internal teams.
