Job summary

The Talent Branch is recruiting an experienced Upholsterer to join a leading furniture restoration specialist operating across the UK. You will inspect, repair and restore domestic upholstery, working directly with customers in their homes and in client sites.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience in domestic upholstery, furniture repair, or restoration techniques.
• Strong working knowledge of modern furniture materials and repair methods.
• Confident written and verbal communication; ability to write clear customer-facing reports.
• Well organised, proactive and methodical; able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers in their homes to inspect furniture and upholstery, diagnosing the repair or restoration work needed.
• Carry out repairs to upholstered furniture to a high standard using provided tools and restoration kits.
• Produce clear, accurate written reports for the business and the customer after each visit.
• Advise customers on ongoing product care and maintenance.
• Represent the business professionally and deliver excellent customer service.
