Job summary

The Talent Branch Ltd. is seeking a skilled Furniture Technician, Upholsterer or Restorer to work across the UK, visiting customers’ homes to diagnose and repair furniture.

You’ll be hands-on with upholstery repairs and restoration, using the provided tools and kits, and you will document outcomes in clear customer-facing reports. Applicants should have significant experience in domestic upholstery and furniture restoration, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience in domestic upholstery, furniture repair, or production and restoration techniques.
• Strong knowledge of modern furniture materials and repair methods.
• Confident written and verbal communication for customer-facing reports.
• Well organized and proactive with ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers in their homes to inspect furniture and diagnose repair work.
• Carry out repairs to upholstery to a high standard using provided tools and kits.
• Produce clear written reports for business and customer after each visit.
• Advise customers on ongoing care and maintenance of furniture.
• Represent the business professionally and maintain excellent customer service.
