Job summary

THE TALENT BRANCH is recruiting a Furniture Technician / Upholsterer / Restoration Technician to cover Aberdeen & Dundee. The role offers a basic salary up to £35,000 plus a company vehicle, tools, materials and generous benefits.

You’ll inspect customer homes, diagnose repairs, carry out upholstery and wood repairs, plan routes, and report back with clear, professional documentation. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in upholstery, furniture repair or restoration.
• Knowledge of cabinet making and wood repair techniques.
• Strong written reports and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers in homes across Aberdeen and Dundee to inspect and diagnose repair or restoration needs.
• Carry out upholstery repairs, leather repairs, colour matching, and wood/furniture repairs to a high standard.
• Plan daily routes autonomously and manage appointments with head office support.
• Generate clear reports for customers and the business after each visit.
• Advise on ongoing furniture care and maintenance.
• Represent the company with professional customer service.
