Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Field Technician to join our Infrastructure division. You will conduct pavement and utility coring works, supporting highway projects while upholding high health and safety standards.

The role requires flexible hours and a readiness to travel to sites across the UK. Key responsibilities include conducting FWD, coring, trial pits, and DCPs, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring meticulous equipment calibration and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year industry experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach to working hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pavement investigations including FWD, coring, trial pits and DCPs.
• Liaise with clients and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain calibrated equipment and accurate site records.
