Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Trainee Field Technician to join our Infrastructure division. In this role you’ll support site and laboratory testing activities while learning industry standards under the guidance of experienced colleagues.

We provide full training, a clear development path, and the chance to work on diverse projects across the UK. A full UK driving licence is required and CSCS is desirable but can be facilitated.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Strong communication skills and a health & safety focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence is required for site travel.
• CSCS card desirable but we can facilitate this for you.

Responsibilities

• Sampling and testing of construction materials on site and in the laboratory.
• Completing test sheets, including calculations.
• Supporting report production in line with QA systems.
