Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Technician to join our Infrastructure team. You will support structural and foundations testing at client sites, install instrumentation, and report results with a focus on safety and quality. The role requires hands-on testing, independent work, and collaboration with project teams.

Ideal candidates will have foundations testing experience, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to travel and stay away as needed across sites in the UK.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar foundations testing role.
• Good practical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and stay away in hotels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and undertake product performance and site testing.
• Build static load tests and install instrumentation.
• Complete technical work and report results.
• Undertake physical testing of piled foundations at client sites.
• Set up equipment and conduct test methods in line with RAMS.
• Analyse and interpret data and complete test sheets.
• Follow QHSE protocols and maintain high customer service standards.
