Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive GI technician to join our ground investigation and geotechnical team. You will support monitoring on sites across the UK and enter data accurately to help deliver safe, compliant infrastructure projects.

The role includes planning monitoring programs, coordinating with the GI Project Manager, and working independently on tasks across active sites with varied access.

Qualifications

• Awareness and ability to implement Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Computer literate with MS Office for reporting and documentation.
• Effective communication at all levels.
• Mobility, flexibility and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Support the business by undertaking site monitoring and data entry as instructed by the GI Project Manager.
• Assist with planning the monitoring programme to ensure work is completed in a timely manner and in line with the specification requirements.
• Be able to work independently to complete monitoring work as required.
