Job summary

SOCOTEC Building Control Limited is seeking a Field Technician within the Infrastructure division to support highway pavement and utility investigations across the UK.

You will conduct pavement investigations (FWD, coring, trial pits, DCPs), liaise with clients and subcontractors on site, and maintain calibrated equipment and accurate site records, while upholding high health and safety standards. A full UK driving licence and flexibility to work odd hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year industry experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach to working hours including nights and weekends.

Field Technician

As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Field Technician to join our Infrastructure division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Field Technician to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to undertake pavement and utility coring works while maintaining high health & safety and quality standards. Previous site-based experience is beneficial to thrive in this position.
