Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Field Technical Support Engineer for the UK & Ireland region. You will lead on-site installations, calibrations, and user training, empowering customers to operate 3D printing systems and software.

Based in London/Manchester/Dublin, you will travel extensively, manage scheduling, perform rapid repairs, and document activities in Salesforce. This role requires a strong electromechanical background and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in electromechanical hardware and service delivery.
• Ability to train customers on equipment use and software.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills; German/French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and calibrate new 3D printing systems on-site at customer sites.
• Provide structured on-site user training and live product demonstrations.
• Perform break-fix and preventative maintenance; respond to downtime with rapid repairs.
• Maintain travel schedules, log activities in Salesforce, and manage installation docs.
