Job summary

Motorola Solutions, Inc. seeks a Customer Support Engineer (UKFSO) based in Central London to lead on-site configuration, testing and post-cut support for Motorola solutions. Role includes national/international travel and close collaboration with customers and partners.

You will document changes, support deployments, maintain SME status and participate in pre-contract briefs while ensuring SLA adherence and high-quality service. A university degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree desired.
• 3+ years' deployment and integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Experience with installation, administration and troubleshooting of TCP/IP Networking, Tetra systems, virtualization and servers.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for all supported and assigned solutions.
• Performs site Verification Testing prior to cutting a site into production.
• Provides support to Customer and Channel Partners while cutting the solution into production.
• Documents all changes to the solution during the implementation phase.
• Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensures project documentation is stored appropriately.
• Participates in development and approval of Methods of Procedure.
• Participates in pre-contract oral presentations and customer negotiations as required.
• Maintains SME skills; learns on the job.
