Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a Smart Meter Technician to install external smart meters and replacements, connect meters to the network, and complete installations with accurate data entry in Dynamics field services.

Role involves triaging connectivity issues, investigating supply connections, and working mainly alone with safety protocols in a 24/7 standby context. Travel across the Salisbury region with a provided vehicle.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus and confident customer interaction.
• Experience with water metering would be beneficial; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Install external smart meters and replacements.
• Connect meters to the network and close installations in systems.
• Carry out triage on connectivity issues and investigate supply connections.
• Ensure meters are fitted to a high standard and data is recorded accurately.
• Follow lone worker safety processes with team support available.
• Travel across the region, first Salisbury area; vehicle provided.
